Cave of Hira, on Jabal an-Nour, is where the first revelation came to the Prophet ﷺ. Jabal Thawr holds the cave where the Prophet ﷺ and Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) sheltered during the migration to Madinah. Both involve a hill climb — check fitness and footwear before booking, especially for elderly pilgrims.
Masjid Quba is the first mosque built in Islam — praying two rak'ahs here carries the reward of an Umrah, per hadith. Jabal Uhud marks the site of the Battle of Uhud and the martyrs' graveyard. Badr is farther out and usually offered as a separate, longer trip rather than a same-day add-on.
Most operators run Makkah Ziyarat and Madinah Ziyarat as two separate half-day tours, since the cities are apart. Group tours cost less per person; private tours suit families with elderly members or young children who need a slower pace and their own vehicle.
