Government Hajj is handled entirely by Pakistan's Ministry of Religious Affairs. You apply directly through designated banks. We provide this information as a service. If you want a more premium Hajj experience with better hotels and tent locations, consider our Private Hajj packages.

Application process — step by step

Check eligibility

Pakistani nationals who have not performed Hajj in the last 5 years are eligible. CNIC required. Women under 45 must travel with mahram.

Registration at bank

Register at designated banks (Habib Bank, MCB, etc.) during the registration window — usually January to March. Pay registration fee.

Ballot selection

More applicants than quota means selection by ballot (draw). Results announced by Ministry of Religious Affairs. Check Ministry website or SMS.

If selected — pay dues

If selected in ballot, pay the Hajj dues (set by government annually) within the deadline. Amount varies each year based on Saudi charges and PKR rate.

Training & orientation

Mandatory Hajj training sessions organized by Ministry. Attend your district's sessions. Covers rituals, health guidance, rules.

Departure

Travel with your government Hajj group. Accommodation in Makkah and Madinah as arranged by Ministry. Mina tents are standard category.
