Application process, step by step
Check the latest official notice
Government Hajj rules can change every year. Before applying, check the latest Ministry of Religious Affairs notice for passport validity, CNIC, age, health, mahram or group-travel requirements, and any advance registration rules.
Advance registration or application
When the Ministry opens the window, complete the required registration or application through designated banks or the official portal. Recent cycles used advance registration first, then application and fee collection after the official policy was announced.
Quota, ballot, or seat confirmation
Selection depends on the annual policy and available quota. It may involve a ballot, first-come processing, or another Ministry-announced process. Always confirm through the official portal, SMS, or designated bank.
If selected, pay dues
If selected in ballot, pay the Hajj dues (set by government annually) within the deadline. Amount varies each year based on Saudi charges and PKR rate.
Training & orientation
Mandatory Hajj training sessions organized by Ministry. Attend your district's sessions. Covers rituals, health guidance, rules.
Departure
Travel with your government Hajj group. Accommodation in Makkah and Madinah as arranged by Ministry. Mina tents are standard category.
